“Work Plan for Culture 2015-2018” Conclusions of the Council and of the Representatives of the Governments of the Member States, meeting within the Council, on a Work Plan for Culture (2015-2018) (2014/C 463/02)

The work plan, adopted by EU Culture Ministers in December 2014, is built on the European Agenda for Culture. The plan sets out four main priorities for European cooperation in cultural policy-making: 1) Accessible and inclusive culture; 2) Cultural heritage; 3) Cultural and creative sectors: creative economy and innovation; and 4) Promotion of cultural diversity, culture in EU external relations, and mobility. Around 20 concrete actions are pursued along the priorities. This plan has a horizontal priority – a joint work on ensuring comparable quality statistics on culture. The mid-term review planned for 2016 along with subsequent discussions between the Member States will provide the basis for revision of the work plan.
